- Saddle up and explore the beaches and mountains of Le Morne on a beautiful retired racehorse
- Take in the majesty of Le Morne Mountain, once home to slaves on the run for their freedom
- Wade into the water with your horse – don’t worry, it’s perfectly safe!
- Beach horseback riding is fairly easy, so participants are not required to have any riding experience.
Horse Riding at Le Morne – Trip Description:
Upon arrival you will be welcomed by a very friendly staff and you will meet your horse. You will have 10 minutes initiation before leaving the paddock. For novice riders, the initiation will guide you through the basics of horse riding, for you to learn how mount and control your horse, guaranteeing maximum safety and enjoyment during your trail.
The instructor will watch you ride in the paddock first, which will help you build up your confidence with trotting and galloping.
Now, it’s time to set out from the stables and go for a private ride to discover Mauritius’ lush green nature in an original way through private horseback riding. White sandy beaches, crystal clear calm lagoons and beautiful green surroundings; all these make Mauritius a real paradise island.
